Who is responsible
fadect.fun is operated by Blake Baron ("fadeCT", "we"). Contact: fadect.news@gmail.com.
What we collect
If you join the notify list
- Your email address, which you type in.
- The time you signed up.
- A one-way hash of your IP address (salted SHA-256). We do not store your raw IP address. The hash is used only to rate-limit sign-ups and stop abuse.
- Your browser's user-agent string (for example, browser and OS version), used to spot automated sign-ups.
When you browse
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and the site does not set its own cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver and secure the site and may set strictly necessary security cookies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
How we use it
- To send you the notifications you asked for: extreme readings and fadeCT updates.
- To prevent spam and abuse of the sign-up form.
We do not sell, rent or share your email address with advertisers. We don't use it for anything you didn't sign up for.
Where it's stored
Sign-ups are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database operated on our behalf by Cloudflare, Inc., which may process data in the United States and other countries. If we start using an email delivery provider to send notifications, it will process your email address only to deliver those messages.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Anti-abuse rate-limit records are short-lived and are routinely deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email or contacting fadect.news@gmail.com. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at the same address. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights, including to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority. Our legal basis for processing your email is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Leaderboards and public posts
Leaderboards reference public X accounts and link to their public posts. We store only what is needed to compute call accuracy (handle, the asset and direction of a call, its time and link) and do not publish post text. To request a review of an entry, contact fadect.news@gmail.com.
Children
fadeCT is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and revise the effective date below.
